The concept for la costa brava started out as coffee blog of cafes in Tijuana and San Diego. The name came about while looking through a book of phrases and finding the most interesting one. Eventually the project turned into a zine which included interviewing artists and documenting art and music show throughout San Diego / Tijuana area. The project ended in 2017 when I moved to Humbodlt County, in Northern California.
I lived in between San Diego and Tijuana México the majority of my life. I am a photographer that mainly focus on the natural reactions of people. I try to capture people in the most candid of moments. For me, it is the most natural and relateable look a person can have.
